Iara Scherer Keen

Iara Scherer Keen is an Argentinian filmmaker currently attending Pratt Institute as an undergraduate in the Film and Video major. She is a director with a strong passion in editing and cinematography.

Visual media and storytelling has been a part of her life since she was only a child. She grew up on a stage as a performer, which planted the foundations for her interest in storytelling. After graduating high school she decided to pursue her dreams and move to Los Angeles, where she remained for a year before moving to New York. 

​

These cities have expanded her connections with worldwide people as well as strengthen her storytelling abilities. Cinema is art, and that is what she wants to create.
